Sumario:In continuation with the previous studies on the blood composition of cattle and sheep in Khartoum province and Western Sudan, the total serum minerals, sodium, potassium and calcium have been determined. The figures are given in tables 1-3. It is evident that the mean albumin content was lower but the A- and B-globulins were higher than the physiological averages for cattle in temperate zones. As regards to the serum minerals it seems that there is need for further investigations in order to establish the physiological variations especially for Ca and Na in Zebu cattle under Sudan conditions.
