| Sumario: | Presents preliminary results of research on feed resource development conducted in the subhumid Kenyan coast. The studies are divided into two-systems studies and component studies. The systems studies include experiments on fodder production based on napier grass var. Bana grown in leucaena alleys and maize and cowpea production in a leucaena alley system. The component studies include napier grass (var. Bana), management study, a comparison of herbaceous legumes as companion for napier grass var. Bana., a study of maximising benefits of slurry on napier grass var.
