It is also a useful tool that supervisors can use to focus investment in their staff in terms of staff development and contribution to ILRI’s work. It also provides some useful information in budgeting for Learning & Development. The directory has several sections and users may choose to go directly to the section that is most relevant to them. The document encourages each staff to take advantage of the Learning & Development opportunities to ensure improving their skills, both technical and personal excellence in order to remain relevant in their chosen field by making sure they engage in continuous professional development. This is most useful during discussions with their superviser about personal development and learning needs. |
