| Sumario: | Over the past few years, research at ILRI and by its partners has identified genomic regions controlling trypanotolerance in cattle and in mice. In mice many of the genes lying within these genomic regions have been identified, leading the way to identification of the genes controlling trypanotolerance. A summary of this research and a brief discussion of future research are presented here. |
