It demonstrates how integrated solutions—linking irrigation performance, drainage, soil health management, and climate-smart practices—can deliver multiple benefits for productivity, water efficiency, and ecosystem sustainability. Evidence from field studies, spatial analysis, and socio-economic assessments is used to inform practical pathways for action. A key focus is translating science into impact. The report identifies institutional, financial, and policy constraints that limit the uptake and scaling of proven innovations, and highlights the importance of cost-effectiveness, return on investment, and inclusive governance in guiding public and development finance. By connecting research, policy, and investment planning, Water, Soil and Resilience provides decision-makers with actionable insights to support the sustainable management of water and soil resources and accelerate climate-resilient agricultural transformation.
