Description
Summary:In this video, we introduce the Digital Agroclimatic Plots, experimental spaces that integrate IoT, soil sensors, multispectral drones, high-resolution satellite imagery (PlanetScope), and real-time visualization platforms through satellite connectivity (Starlink). This infrastructure enables continuous monitoring of key variables related to crops, soil, and climate, generating processed information that, combined with advanced modeling and artificial intelligence, supports decision-making. These plots help optimize agronomic management, promoting more productive, sustainable, and climate-resilient agriculture. They also serve an educational role as demonstration laboratories for training in digital agricultural technologies. Thanks to their adaptable design, they have strong scalability potential across different crops and regions of Latin America, contributing to digital transformation, food security, and the Sustainable Development Goals.
