Description
Summary:This brief describes how supply chain innovations on just-in-time supply can help accelerate the use of climate science. The key messages are: (1) the supply of climate science and the practical needs of policy makers and investor are often misaligned; (2) Just-in-Time principles of responsiveness, efficiency, flexibility and quality offer a novel framework to translate the latest science into information that can improve policies, investments and results; and (3) adoption of Just-in-Time approaches requires AICCRA and the broader CGIAR to adopt new ways of organizing and delivering research.
