The tool incorporates adjustable parameters—adoption rates, area projections, replacement intervals, seeding rates, and wastage—to generate dynamic, scenario-based forecasts. Initially conceptualized under the SASHA and SweetGAINS projects, it has been validated across Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, and Nigeria through PROSSIVA and Seed Equal initiatives. Hosted by MOOD Technologies (Uganda), the SRE Tool enhances efficiency, reduces risk, and promotes market-responsive seed systems. |
