Sumario:Integrated water resources management (IWRM) is a crucial process for sustainable and equitable water resource use. This study was carried out to assess the integration of water stakeholders in IWRM in the Saiss region (Morocco). Using SWOT analysis to reveal internal strengths and weaknesses, external opportunities and threats related to the water management system, and survey methods to determine the level of stakeholder integration in IWRM, we analysed the current water management framework, including local stakeholders’ perceptions. Reinforcing stakeholders’ integration, this study informs water resources management strategies and underlines the importance of ongoing stakeholder engagement for the success of IWRM.
