description Brought together by the CGIAR Climate Resilience Initiative under the banner of the Disruptive Seeds process, the emerging Kenyan Disruptive Seeds coalition was first convened in September 2024. Over the course of an initial three-day workshop, selected organizations developed transformation pathways for durable systems change to bring about a more just and sustainable food system in Kenya. This second in-person workshop focused on concrete action plans and organizational consolidation informed by the aforementioned pathways to make the network's vision for Kenya's food system and eventual reality. Within this workshop, CGIAR's research and processes on future scenario building in September were complemented by CoRe's expertise in action planning for systems change. With CGIAR having created an opportunity for network members to develop transformation pathways for Kenya's food system, CoRe supported the network in devising specific plans to reform policy, mobilize communities, and influence key institutions to bring about concrete change. This report details the central findings from the December workshop, highlighting emerging trends, addressing critical areas of debate, offering recommendations for network strengthening, and recognizing the group's significant progress thus far. Specifically, it details the overall workshop process, the formation of working groups and action planning within the network, network structure, and recommendation for network development.
