Sumario:Guatemala is a major climate change and migration hotspot due to its significant vulnerability and limited capacity to manage the impacts of climate change and address the needs of those involved in different types of human mobility (Notre Dame University, 2022). According to IDMC (2023), by the end of 2022 there was a total of 74,000 internally displaced people due to climate-related disasters in the country.
