| Summary: | Funded by the CGIAR Initiave on Fruits and Vegetables for Sustainable Healthy Diets (FRESH) this review provides an in-depth analysis of food environments aiming to enhance an understanding of their characteristics and interactions, with a particular focus on F&V supply and demand. F&V are critical for addressing malnutrition, micronutrient deficiencies, and the rising non-communicable diseases burden. The review concentrates on publications (n-30) related to food environments in Sri Lanka including their characterization, components, regulations, and enabling factors.
