Description
Summary:Design innovations in making social protection gender-transformative to reduce normative constraints for women and girls. The innovation brings together evidence review, co-design of a specific innovation with partners, an impact evaluation testing that innovation, and resulting guidance for partners on implementing the innovation. The goal of the innovation is to make social protection gender-transformative, thus addressing normative constraints for women and girls. The specific example of the design innovation tested in the impact evaluation includes engaging men in gender dialogue sessions, focusing on gender roles in domestic work, and building this component on to a graduation model social protection program in Ethiopia.
