| description | Research tools on the impact of gender norms on women’s economic resilience to climate change in order to develop gender transformative approaches to improve women’s resilience.
The project developed a toolbox to understand the impact of gender norms on women’s economic reliance to climate change impacts. The adapted qualitative tools are used to identify and map the key stakeholders in agricultural value chains and ii) understand which norms constrain women and other groups from participating in and benefiting from work in the different nodes of the value chain iii) how women and other value chain players at the different nodes of agricultural value chains are coping with climate change impacts and also make use of Vignettes and attitudes and behaviour assessment plots to analyze whether or not gender norms that may affect value chain actors are weakening or shifting. This analysis will also allow us to see under what conditions actors can deviate from the norm and how that impacts their economic resilience to climate change impacts. |
