| Summary: | This policy brief synthesizes five years (2018–2022) of experience in implementing climate-smart agriculture (CSA) interventions across Southeast Asia. The International Institute of Rural Reconstruction (IIRR), with funding from the International Development Research Center (IDRC) Canada, collaborated with farmers, local authorities, civil society actors, and national agencies to support villages in Cambodia, Myanmar, and the Philippines that are vulnerable to climate change impacts. The findings and recommendations from this work are documented in 22 knowledge products, forming the basis of this brief.
In the Philippines, IIRR also partnered with the Adaptation and Mitigation Initiative in Agriculture (AMIA) Program, under the Systems-Wide Climate Change Office (SWCO) of the Department of Agriculture (DA), to enhance climate change adaptation efforts in Guinayangan, Quezon, and Ivisan, Capiz.
