Summary:What has been the recent performance of the agricultural sector in Mozambique and the progress made thus far toward achieving the objectives established under the Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Programme (CAADP) initiative for Mozambique that began in late 2011? This policy note is a synthesis of a discussion paper developed to answer that question with the objective of informing the Joint Sector Review (JSR) process for 2014, early in the implementation of Mozambique’s CAADP investment plan—the Strategic Plan for the Development of the Agriculture Sector (PNISA, Programa Nacional de Investimento do Sector Agrário).
