| Summary: | The database includes the estimation of Greenhouse Gases for rice production, calculated for each producer. It compiles the input variables necessary for the calculations, the factors selected according to the IPCC methodology, and the resulting estimates in CO2 equivalent. The database also includes a variable dictionary.
Methodology:We applied the most recent IPCC tier one methodology, taking into account emissions from methane (as detailed in the document "Cropland," chapter 5 of the 2019 Refinement to the IPCC Guidelines, IPCC, 2019a), as well as nitrous oxide and carbon dioxide (as detailed in Chapter 11 of the 2019 Refinement to the IPCC Guidelines, IPCC, 2019b).
