| Summary: | Partnership programme with humanitarian agencies and research institutes in the Global South with two objectives of a) making CGIAR analysis operationally relevant and b) supporting local research and evidence-generation. It will contribute to the localisation agenda of the humanitarian and development communities, promoting national leadership, citizen accountability and more direct funding to local actors. To be developed through 4 pillars: Secondments of CGIAR staff to humanitarian, peacebuilding and development partners, providing expertise and technical support. Connecting researchers and practitioner/policy experts and supporting global and regional networks of scientists and universities to promote quality research. Localizing support to researchers and science institutions to strengthen research capacity and accelerate peer-reviewed publication and use of science in and from the Global South. Documenting the process and modalities of the Partnership, including failures and successes, to enable learning and establish a framework and evidence-base for future investments
