Sumario:The mission of the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) is to provide research-based policy solutions that sustainably reduce poverty and end hunger and malnutrition. In order for IFPRI to succeed in its mission, it must communicate and make available IFPRI-produced research results so that they reach the decision makers whose policy choices affect the daily lives of the poor and malnourished. IFPRI works at the global and regional levels as well as the national and local levels. The Institute must therefore have a communications strategy for disseminating its findings across the same spectrum. This strategy presents a new approach for communicating IFPRI’s work across this spectrum to ensure that the Institute meets the information needs of a broad array of decision makers in a rapidly changing world.
