Description
Summary:The CGIAR Initiative on Fragility to Resilience in Central and West Asia and North Africa (F2R CWANA) has established ‘CWANA Regional Agronomy Community of Practice (ACoP)’ within the framework of sustainable intensification work package (F2R-CWANA-WP3) in Sudan, Egypt, and Uzbekistan. Establishment of ACoP in CWANA region was imperative due to low exchange of knowledge and experiences among scientists which is hindering technology transfer and overall agricultural development. Lack of such collaboration has resulted in a restricted pool of technological options available to address the unique challenges faced by agriculture in the region. By fostering a platform for sharing ideas and innovations among scientists, these barriers can be removed and enhance knowledge dissemination and improve adoption of science-led innovations, ultimately contributing to increased food and nutritional security in the region.
