Agricultural education has a profound role to play in shaping the future of sustainable agriculture. The objective of the session is to share and discuss the issues related to the transformations and reforms in agricultural education to develop a skilled, adaptable and future-ready workforce that can tackle the challenges of a rapidly changing world—especially with regard to agricultural and food challenges—and to discuss how the next generation of agricultural professionals—women and men—can be equipped with the skills, knowledge and mindset needed to address contemporary agricultural challenges.
