CIMMYT produced a roadmap for agricultural development in the NEH region of India in collaboration with the Indian Council of Agricultural Resarch, the National Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and the Indian Association of Hill Farming. The roadmap presents evidence-based recommendations for state governments and research organizations in the North-Eastern Hill region on how to upscale sustainable and resilient agriculture technologies, potential farming and cropping systems, and options for hill agriculture, given the low and uncertain agricultural productivity in the region
