ARICA 6, an iron toxicity-tolerant rice variety for West and Central Africa
ARICA 6 was developed under the framework of the Stress-Tolerant Varieties for Africa (STRASA) project and has shown during testing that it is high-yielding, well adapted to plains and lowlands and very tolerant of iron toxicity. ARICA 6 was released in several countries, including Guinea, in 2017.
