description A study was conducted to assess the usability of Rice Doctor Odisha (RD) in making accurate and timely diagnosis of insect pests, diseases, and other agronomic problems. The study involved 258 participants who are all active extension workers from Department of Agriculture, farmers and students. Majority of the respondents under the RD method were able to provide correct answers, were moderately confident in the diagnostic method used and the recommendation given, and have positive perception toward the RD method’s effectiveness.
