Sumario:Rural Urban Nexus (RUNRES) is a multidisciplinary project funded by the Swiss Development Cooperation (SDC). The project operates in Rwanda, DRC, South Africa, and Ethiopia. Implemented by the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) in Rwanda, RUNRES promotes the CIRCULAR ECONOMY through a Public-Private-Partnership (PPP), whereby food wastes in city regions are transformed into organic fertilizers applied in the rural areas for agricultural food production.
