María Luisa Mendoza

María Luisa Mendoza (17 May 1930 – 29 June 2018), also known as La China Mendoza, was a Mexican journalist, novelist and politician. In the 2003 mid-term election, she was elected to the Chamber of Deputies to represent Guanajuato's 9th district during the 53rd session of Congress (1 September 1985 – 31 August 1988) for the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI).
