  3. RNA Virus Discovery Sheds Light on the Virome of a Major Vineyard Pest, the European Grapevine Moth (Lobesia botrana) por Debat, Humberto Julio, Gomez Talquenca, Gonzalo, Bejerman, Nicolas Esteban

    Publicado 2025
“…Phylogenetic analysis of the cypoviruses places them within the genus in affinity with other moth viruses. The bi-segmented and highly divergent sobemo-like virus showed a distinctive evolutionary trajectory of its encoding proteins at the periphery of recently reported invertebrate Sobelivirales. …”

  5. Development in Origanum ssp.: a simple phenological scale todetermine thermal time requirements to critical reproductive events por Davidenco, Vanina, Vega, Claudia Rosa Cecilia, Piccardi, Mónica Belén, Argüello, Juan Alberto

    Publicado 2018
“…Here, we aimed at developing (i) a simple phenological scale based on morphological features in common of the genus and (ii) a model that allows quantifying the thermal time requirements for critical events, such as vegetative to reproductive transition (V3) and flowering (R6). …”

Biogeochemical research priorities for sustainable biofuel and bioenergy feedstock production in the Americas por Gollany, Hero T., Titus, Brian D., Scott, Andrew, Asbjornsen, Heidi, Resh, Sigrid C., Chimner, Rodney Allen, Kaczmarek, Donald J., Leite, Luiz F., Ferreira, Ana C., Rod, Kenton A., Hilbert, Jorge Antonio, Galdos, Marcelo, Cisz, Michelle E.

    Publicado 2018
“…Identification and validation of soil sustainability indicators for both site prescriptions and spatial applications would better inform commercial and policy decisions. In an increasingly interrelated but constrained global context, researchers should engage across inter-disciplinary, inter-agency, and international lines to better ensure the long-term soil productivity across a range of scales, from site to landscape.…”

  9. Laboratory and field studies to evaluate the potential of an open rearing system of Lysiphlebus testaceipes for the control of Aphis craccivora in Argentina por Zumoffen, Leticia, Tavella, Julia Rita, Signorini, Marcelo, Salvo, Silvia Adriana

    Publicado 2018
“…About 84 % of adults of L. testaceipes obtained in the samples came from Aphis nerii (Boyer de Fonscolombe), an innocuous aphid species only associated with plants of the genus Araujia Brotero (Apocynaceae). Based on our results, the system proposed has many features that support its feasibility to be used as an open rearing system of L. testaceipes: unrisky alternative aphid, easy reproduction of the banker plant and similar suitability of innocuous and pest aphid species for the parasitoid to oviposit and complete their development without noticeably preference for specific hosts.…”
