    “…En la actualidad no existe un sistema de gestión de riesgo que articule la demanda por recursos financieros por parte de los productores ganaderos en Chile, ya sea para inversión y/o capital de trabajo, sin que se comprometa el patrimonio de los productores por la entrega de garantías, fundamentalmente terrenos para la cobertura de créditos. Por otro lado las colocaciones bancarias en el sector agropecuario se estiman en un 6,25% del total de créditos, no existiendo instrumentos de financiamiento adaptados a la realidad productiva y de negocios de los productores ganaderos.Junto a lo anterior, el Consorcio Lechero tiene como meta doblar la producción de leche a nivel nacional al ano 2020, para esto es fundamental contar con financiamiento para la inversión en activos biológicos (vientres bovinos), esta ambiciosa meta productiva requiere necesariamente el aporte de agentes externos al sector pecuario, dado que el capital propio no asegura el crecimiento esperado de la masa ganadera.…”
