  2. Physiological and Agronomic Responses of Four Rice Varieties to Drought in the Rainforest por Fofana, M., Sakariyawo, O.S., Popogbe, M.O., Oyekanmi, A.A., Azeez, J.O., Adegbehingbe, F.T.

    Publicado 2018
“…In both trials, the physiological mechanism that underpins varietal differences with repeated cycles of water deficit at the reproductive growth stage was more balanced water status, improved foliar characters, efficient photosynthetic capacity and higher grain yield in comparatively drought tolerant upland rice varieties ('NERICA 4' and 'WAB 56-104'), as opposed with the results for the drought susceptible cultivar 'IR 64'. A converse pattern was observed on water stressed rice, despite fewer cycles of water deficit on the field. …”

  7. Platy structure development under no-tillage in the northern humid Pampas of Argentina and its impact on runoff por Sasal, Maria Carolina, Boizard, Hubert, Andriulo, Adrian Enrique, Wilson, Marcelo German, Léonard, Joel

    Publicado 2017
“…The aims of this study were i) to characterize the evolution of the structure of the A horizon in the northern Humid Pampas due to conversion to NT, particularly the presence of platy structure and its development through time, by taking advantage of a chronosequence since conversion to NT; and ii) to evaluate how platy structure extension in the A horizon relates to characteristics of the crop sequences and runoff in a long-term experiment. …”
