Identification of a new polymorphism in the MP/CP region of Spanish isolates of Grapevine Pinot gris virus
Publicado 2018“…No association between the presence of these genetic variants and the symptomatology of Spanish GPGV infected grapevines has been found, suggesting that other factors would be involved in the epidemiology of the GPGV associated disease. …”

The Susceptibility of Bemisia tabaciMediterranean (MED) Species to Attack by a ParasitoidWasp Changes between TwoWhitefly Strains with Different Facultative Endosymbiotic Bacteria
Publicado 2024“…Our findings showed that host strain is a factor affecting the ability of E. mundus to parasitize B. tabaci and lay the basis for further studies aimed at disentangling the role of the facultative endosymbiont Cardinium and of the genetic background in the resistance of B. tabaci MED to parasitoid attack. …”

Threshold-crossing time statistics for gene expression in growing cells
Publicado 2024“…When proteins accumulate in growing cells, their concentration reaches a steady value. We observe that if dilution by cell growth is modeled as degradation, cells can reach concentrations higher than this steady-state level at a finite time. In the growing cell model, on the other hand, the FPT moments diverge if the threshold is higher than the steady-state level. …”

Occurrence and characterization of cyst nematode species (Globodera spp.) associated with potato crops in Colombia
Publicado 2025“…To our knowledge this is the first comprehensive survey of Globodera populations from Colombia that includes morphological and genetic data. Our findings on species diversity and phylogenetic relationships of Globodera populations from Colombia may help elucidate the status and distribution of Globodera species, and lead to the development of accurate management strategies for the potato cyst nematodes.…”

Hund som komparativ modell för autoimmuna sjukdomar
Publicado 2007“…Dog as a model contributes to understand mechanisms behind autoimmune diseases and showed clearly histological similarities between human and dogs concerning the skin disease mucous membrane pemphigoid (MMP)/cicatricial pemphgioid (CP). Further genetic evidence motivated the choice of using dog as a comprehensive model when the MHC-complex correlated with hypothyroiditis in Doberman dog as it does in human. …”

Sampling methods of the wels catfish (Silurus glanis) in freshwater lakes
Publicado 2018“…In recent years, efforts have been made to rein-troduce the species to previous inhabited areas, restore degraded habitats and to increase the low genetic variation among the populations. Studies and general recommendations concerning sampling techniques and monitoring of S. glanis in temperate lakes are lacking, especially concerning conservation measures. …”
