  2. Nitrous oxide emissions and emission factors in hairy vetch-maize sequences: The role of vetch termination timing on nitrogen synchronization por Cafaro La Menza, Francisco, Lewczuk, Nuria, Echarte, Laura, Barbieri, Pablo, Carciochi, Walter Daniel

    Publicado 2026
“…The timing of hairy vetch (Vicia villosa Roth) termination was investigated to improve N synchronization and to assess its potential to replace fallow as an alternative N source for maize (Zea mays L.) without increasing N2O emissions compared to urea, while maintaining productivity. An experiment was conducted over two seasons to assess N2O emissions (43 measurements per season) and soil N dynamics in fallow/maize and vetch/maize sequences with two termination timings. …”

  3. Addressing the Threat of Huanglongbing in the Mediterranean Region: a Challenge to Save the Citrus Industry por Durán-Vila, Núria, Janse, J. D., Foissac, X., Melgarejo, Paloma, Bove, J. M.

    Publicado 2017
“…Even though Citrus huanglongbing (HLB), caused by Candidatus Liberibacter spp., is not yet present in the Mediterranean basin, this devastating disease is threatening the very survival of citrus in most parts of the world. In the framework of an international course on “Emerging and Quarantine Diseases of Mediterranean Fruit and Vegetable Crops”, the participants were asked to hold group discussions to define measures for prevention and management of HLB in the Mediterranean Region. …”

  4. Cryopreservation of ovules and somatic embryos of citrus using the encapsulation-dehydration technique por Gonzalez-Arnao, Maria Teresa, Juárez, José, Ortega, Carmen, Navarro, Luis, Durán-Vila, Núria

    Publicado 2017
“…Cryopreservation of ovules and somatic embryos from several genotypes of citrus was achieved using the encapsulation-dehydration technique. Survival of cryopreserved ovules was occasional and erratic after different pregrowth conditions in liquid medium with 0.75M, 1M or up to 1.25M sucrose. …”
