Assessment of genetic diversity in extraearly Strigaresistant tropical inbred lines using multivariate analysis of agronomic data
Publicado 2005“…Based on the preliminary grouping of the inbreds, it may be predicted that the selection of specific combinations of inbred lines for the development of hybrids, or synthetics, or for introgression into breeding populations may best be done by selecting parents that combine high grain yield with reduced Striga damage symptoms and numbers of emerged Striga plants, as well as high numbers of ears per plant in each cluster. …”

The Gypsy Database (GyDB) of mobile genetic elements: release 2.0
Publicado 2017“…This article introduces the second release of the Gypsy Database of Mobile Genetic Elements (GyDB 2.0): a research project devoted to the evolutionary dynamics of viruses and transposable elements based on their phylogenetic classification (per lineage and protein domain). The Gypsy Database (GyDB) is a long-term project that is continuously progressing, and that owing to the high molecular diversity of mobile elements requires to be completed in several stages. …”

Sequencing analysis of 20,000 full-length cDNA clones from cassava reveals lineage specific expansions in gene families related to stress response
Publicado 2007“…Results The ESTs were assembled into 6355 contigs and 9026 singletons that were further grouped into 10577 scaffolds; we found 4621 new cassava sequences and 1521 sequences with no significant similarity to plant protein databases. Transcripts of 7796 distinct genes were captured and we were able to assign a functional classification to 78% of them while finding more than half of the enzymes annotated in metabolic pathways in Arabidopsis. …”
