  2. Climate-smart practice: level of effectiveness and determinants of Sorjan farming adoption in coastal Bangladesh por Kundu, Nanda Dulal, Sujan, Md. Hayder Khan, Sarker, Mou Rani, Sultana, Monira, Uddin, Md. Taj, Bhandari, Humnath, Sarkar, Md Abdur Rouf

    Publicado 2024
“…Further analysis of challenges in both types of farming revealed the advantages of sorjan over plain land cultivation, categorizing them into four distinct areas: environmental, management, input-related, and market issues. Government policies should prioritize holistic support systems and foster collaborative knowledge-sharing among stakeholders to enhance the adoption and diffusion of sorjan farming in coastal communities.…”

  3. Analysis of plot diagnostics as a decision-support tool in CIMMYT Innovation Hubs por Fonteyne, Simon

    Publicado 2025
“…Strengthening plot diagnostics through standardization of core elements, integration into e-Agrology, improved question design, basic quality assurance, and the development of simple indicators would allow CIMMYT to better leverage field-level knowledge. These improvements would support evidence-based prioritization of technologies, stronger alignment between research, training, and farmer needs, and more effective scaling of sustainable agricultural innovations within Innovation Hubs.…”

  7. Population viability analysis of the Danube sturgeon populations por Jarić, Ivan

    Publicado 2009
“…In the present study, the question of viability of Danube sturgeon populations and the poor knowledge of their ecology have been addressed through three different research activities: 1) statistical methods that infer extinction based on sighting records have been used to assess probability of extinction of the Ship and Atlantic sturgeon, whose presence n the Danube basin is uncertain; 2) assessment of microelement accumulation in sturgeon pectoral fin rays, especially of strontium and calcium, has been conducted as a method that can reveal migration patterns of anadromous sturgeons; 3) population viability analysis in a Vortex simulation model has been conducted in order to assess the state of the six Danube sturgeon species, their future risk of extinction and to determine the most suitable conservation and management measures. …”
