“…Para que esta traslación sea biológica y económicamente óptima, se requiere evaluar y controlar integralmente todos los factores que en ella intervienen. Eneste trabajo se analizan los siguientes aspectos: el concepto de enfermedad, las alteraciones homeostáticas relacionadas con la producción, la importancia económica de las enfermedades homeostáticas, el diagnóstico de las alteraciones homoestáticas, una lista maestra de problemas, el plan inicial, la medicina de la producción, diagnóstico clínico, notas de progreso o seguimiento, la casuística, elsíndrome de la deficiencia proteo-energética, la ingestión de alimentos, la dieta, la densidad de la ración, el balance nutricional y humedad, el contenido de fibra, el ambiente, los cambios en la dieta, los metabolitos, la distensión del rumen, los factores que aumentan la demanda de proteina y energía, la fisiopatología del síndrome de la deficiencia proteo-energética: SDPE, los cambios físicos y funcionales, la discusión, los niveles de control del comportamiento alimenticio, los resultados del exámen físico paciente con SDPE, los resultados de laboratorio paciente con SDPE, el diagnóstico, el tratamiento. …”
