Publicado 2017“…La detección del díptero Drosophila suzukii (Matsumura) (Diptera, Drosophilidae) en España, concretamente en el año 2008 y en la provincia de Tarragona (Sarto y Sorribas, 2011), ha causado la alarma en el mundo agrícola al tratarse de una especie invasora que, a diferencia de otros dípteros drosofílidos (comola bien conocida Drosophila melanogaster) que actúan sobre fruta ya en descomposición, es capaz de atacar y causar daño en frutos maduros sanos, aún en la planta (Calabria et al., 2012). En Cataluña, por ejemplo, en 2011 ya se detectó causando daño en cultivos de fresa y cereza principalmente, y de ciruelo, higo y melocotón en menor medida (Sarto y Sorribas, 2011). …”
