“…En la presente investigación se desarrolló un estudio no experimental, transversal de tipo descriptivo donde se recolectaron muestras de ensaladas frescas para determinar la presencia o ausencia de parásitos protozoarios, se realizó un muestreo por conveniencia en diez barrios del distrito III. Para el diagnóstico de parásitos, las muestras fueron analizadas por duplicado mediante la técnica de sedimentación, utilizando método de observación directa, de flotación y la técnica de tinción de Ziel-Neelsen modificado según Álvarez, Travieso y col, también se identificaron los ingredientes más comunes utilizados en las ensaladas y se realizó una evaluación del cumplimiento de la NTON 03 059-05: Norma Técnica Obligatoria Nicaragüense para la elaboración y expendio de alimentos en la vía pública mediante una lista de cotejo que incluían indicadores mencionados en la norma. …”
