  1. The Fleas (Siphonaptera) in Iran: Diversity, Host Range, and Medical Importance por Maleki-Ravasan, N., Solhjouy-Fard, S., Beaucournu, J-C, Laudisoit, A., Mostafavi, E.

    Publicado 2017
“…We found records of at least seven vector-borne pathogenic agents that can potentially be transmitted by the 117 flea species (or subspecies) of Iran. Herein, we performed a thorough inventary of the flea species and their associated hosts, their medical importance and geographic distribution throughout Iran. …”

  2. Response of common bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) to nitrogen, phosphorus and rhizobia inoculation across variable soils in Zimbabwe por Chekanai, V., Chikowo, Regis, Vanlauwe, Bernard

    Publicado 2018
“…Strategically, P investments would be more logical as residual P effects to rotational cereals improve overall cropping system performance. The response of common bean to inoculation in Zimbabwe still needs to be widely investigated for these and other varieties.…”

  3. Raising the Stakes: Cassava Seed Networks at Multiple Scales in Cambodia and Vietnam por Delaquis, Erik, Andersen, Kelsey F., Minato, Nami, Thuy, Cu Thi Le, Karssenberg, Maria Eleanor, Sok, Sophearith, Wyckhuys, Kris A.G., Newby, Jonathan Craig, Burra, Dharani Dhar, Srean, Pao, Phirun, Iv, Le, Niem Duc, Pham, Nhan Thi, Garrett, Karen A., Almekinders, Conny J.M., Struik, Paul C., Haan, Stef de

    Publicado 2018
“…In a first analysis of Vietnamese and Cambodian cassava seed systems, we characterized existing cassava seed systems in 2016–2017 through a farmer survey based approach at both national and community scales, with particular focus on identifying seed system actors, planting material management, exchange mechanisms, geographies, and variety use, and performed a network analysis of detected seed movement at the provincial level. …”

    Publicado 2017
“…The gene expression of the red fluorescent protein (RFP) transgene was found to determine different gradients-of-bioluminescence (shades in color) in each GMO fish analyzed. We performed sequence analysis of the two variants of the RFP along with six variants of the existing fluorescent protein GFP from the Genbank, this could help identify quickly if they are new genes or variants thereof as these novel fluorescent proteins may be introduced in aquatic GMO in the future. …”

  5. Effect of olive hedgerow orientation on vegetative growth, fruit characteristics and productivity por Trentacoste, Eduardo Rafael, Connor, David J., Gómez del Campo, María

    Publicado 2018
“…Analyses of profiles of yield components and yield on opposing sides of hedgerows revealed many differences that contributed to overall hedgerow performance. Regardless of row orientation, fruit density was highest from 1.0 to 2.0 m height, decreasing to the top and to the base. …”

  6. Relationships between olive yield components and simulated irradiance within hedgerows of various row orientations and spacings por Connor, David J., Gómez del Campo, María, Trentacoste, Eduardo Rafael

    Publicado 2018
“…The analyses reveal that the present model can assist design and analysis of performance of a wide range of olive hedgerow orchard structures and also the design and analysis of future experiments required to extend knowledge to a wider range of hedgerow structures and environments.…”
