  3. Evolutionary insights into FYVE and PHOX effector proteins from the moss Physcomitrella patens por Agudelo Romero, Patricia, Margarida Fortes, Ana, Suárez, Trinidad, Lascano, Hernan Ramiro, Saavedra, Laura

    Publicado 2020
“…In this study, we searched for genes coding for PtdIns3P-binding proteins such as FYVE and PHOX domain-containing sequences from different photosynthetic organisms to gather evolutionary insights on these phosphoinositide binding domains, followed by an in silico characterization of the FYVE and PHOX gene families in the moss Physcomitrella patens. …”

  4. Genetic variability and evolutionary analyses of the coat protein gene of Tomato mosaic virus por Rangel, Ezequiel A., Alfaro-Fernández, Ana, Font-San-Ambrosio, Isabel, Luis-Arteaga, Marisol, Rubio, Luis

    Publicado 2017
“…In this study, the nucleotide sequences of the coat protein gene of worldwide ToMV isolates were analyzed to estimate the genetic structure and diversity of this virus and the involved evolutionary forces. The phylogenetic analysis showed three clades with high bootstrap support: Clade I contained three ToMV isolates from Brazil collected from pepper, Clade II comprised one Brazilian ToMV isolate from pepper, and Clade III was composed of ToMV isolates collected from different plant hosts (pepper, tomato, eggplant, lilac, camellia, dogwood, red spruce, etc.) and water (from melting ice, lakes and streams) from different countries: USA, Brazil, Korea, Germany, Spain, Denmark (Greenland), China, Taiwan, Malaysia, Iran, and Kazakhstan. …”

  5. Evolutionary systems biology reveals patterns of rice adaptation to drought-prone agro-ecosystems por Groen, Simon C., Joly-Lopez, Zoé, Platts, Adrian E., Natividad, Mignon, Fresquez, Zoë, Mauck, William M., Quintana, Marinell R., Cabral, Carlo Leo U., Torres, Rolando O., Satija, Rahul, Purugganan, Michael D., Henry, Amelia

    Publicado 2022
“…While previous field studies have evaluated plant developmental adaptations to water deficit, adaptive variation in functional and hydraulic components, particularly in relation to gene expression, has received less attention. Here, we take an evolutionary systems biology approach to characterize adaptive drought resistance traits across roots and shoots. …”

  6. Niche divergence among closely related taxa provides insight on evolutionary patterns of ticks por Cuervo, Pablo Fernando, Flores, Fernando Sebastián, Venzal, José Manuel, Nava, Santiago

    Publicado 2021
“…Aim: Understanding the degree to which closely related taxa diverge in their niche traits could provide insight on their evolutionary patterns, as well as shed some light on the mechanisms underpinning broad-scale biogeographic patterns. …”
