  1. Improvements to cassava-maize intercropping systems in southern Nigeria by Nwokoro, C.C.

    Published 2021
“…In a set of 126 non-replicated multilocation trials (MLTs) conducted in the states of Anambra, Benue, Cross River, Ogun, and Oyo in southern Nigeria, I investigated between 2016 and 2018, the yield and profitability potentials of two densities of cassava (LC: low cassava density of 10,000 plants ha-1 versus HC: high cassava density of 12,500 plants ha- 1) and maize (LM: low maize density of 20,000 plants ha-1 versus HM: high maize density of 40,000 plants ha-1) managed with two regimes of NPK fertilizers targeting either for a yield improvement in cassava (FC: 75 kg N, 20 kg P, and 90 kg K ha-1) or maize (FM: 90 kg N, 20 kg P, and 37 kg K ha-1), compared to a control treatment without fertilizer applied (F0) in the intercropping systems. …”

  4. Comunidades microbianas afectadas por captan en suelos bajo diferentes prácticas de manejo = Microbial communities affected by captan in soils under different management practices by Barbero, Florencia Magalí, Verdenelli, Romina Aylen, Dominchin, Maria Florencia, Perez Brandan, Carolina, Aoki, Antonio Marcelo, Vargas Gil, Silvina, Meriles, Jose Manuel

    Published 2025
“…This study aimed to evaluate how different dosages of the fungicide captan affect the microbiota of soil subjected to different types of management and with a degradation gradient associated with the soil organic matter (SOM) content. The trial was conducted in a greenhouse and included soils with three types of management: pristine forest soil (L1), 2:1 rotation (soybean-corn) under no-tillage management (L2), and soybean monoculture under conventional tillage management (L3). …”
