    Publicado 2018
“…The primary aims of this paper were to provide the first inventory of carabid beetles collected in five different anthropogenic habitat types of the Lower Delta of the Paraná River, to describe their main ecological characteristics and to provide information on their distribution range in ecoregions, subregions and ecosystem complexes of Argentina and across the Neotropical region. …”

  4. Density-dependent and density-independent effects on outbreak dynamics in an invasive forest insect por Villacide, Jose Maria, Liebhold, Andrew M., Cavigliasso, Pablo, Corley, Juan Carlos

    Publicado 2026
“…However, in many parts of its invaded range, S. noctilio displays pronounced outbreaks and spatial aggregation, suggesting more complex population mechanisms. We hypothesized that S. noctilio behaves as an aggressive forest insect in its invaded range, where population dynamics are driven by a combination of both density-independent (host condition) and density-dependent (population density) mechanisms. …”

  5. Characterization of a deletion in the Hsp70 cluster in the bovine reference genome por Suqueli Garcia, M. Florencia, Castellote, Martín Alfredo, Feingold, Sergio Enrique, Corva, Pablo Marcelo

    Publicado 2018
“…In bovines, this cluster is located on chromosome 23 downstream of the major histocompatibility complex (BoLA). We detected inconsistencies in the location of markers on the Hsp70 genes reported in the literature that pointed to a potential deletion in the bovine reference genome UMD 3.1.1. …”

  6. The evolutionary history of Senna ser. Aphyllae (Leguminosae–Caesalpinioideae), an endemic clade of southern South America por Robbiati, Federico Omar, Anton, Ana Maria Ramona, Marazzi, Brigitte, Vásquez-Cruz, Marilyn, Fortunato, Renee Hersilia

    Publicado 2018
“…Series Aphyllae was found to be monophyletic, and the taxa formed two main clades: Clade A gathering S. aphylla var. aphylla, S. crassiramea, S. rigidicaulis and S. spiniflora; and Clade B grouping S. acanthoclada, S. aphylla var. divaricata, S. aphylla var. pendula and S. pachyrrhiza. The morphologically complex S. aphylla appears thus polyphyletic. Molecular dating and ancestral area reconstructions suggest that the Aphyllae clade started to diversify in the South American Transition Zone in the Late Pliocene. …”

  7. A wind-tunnel study on saltation and PM10 emission from agricultural soils por Avecilla, Fernando, Panebianco, Juan Esteban, Buschiazzo, Daniel Eduardo

    Publicado 2018
“…Results indicated that the saltation efficiency for PM10 emission increased with the fine fraction content of the soil and decreased with the sand content, but this process showed a complex behavior depending on the cohesion and stability of the aggregates. …”

  8. Effects of low-scale landscape structures on aeolian transport processes on arable land por Siegmund, Nicole, Funk, Roger, Koszinsky, Sylvia, Buschiazzo, Daniel Eduardo, Sommer, Michael

    Publicado 2018
“…Our findings suggest a structure-process-structure complex where the landscape structure determines the effects of recent wind erosion processes which again slowly influence the structure, leading to a gradual increase of soil heterogeneity.…”
