“…En las comunidades de Loma de Viento, La Pitilla y La Solera, pertenecientes al municipio de Santa Teresa, se han realizado estudios para conocer sus principales problemáticas y una de las más importante es el abastecimiento de agua potable , ya que cuentan con pozos artesanales, los cuales en época de verano se secan a falta de una buena gestión para formular un proyecto de abastecimiento, es por esa razón la importancia de realizar este estudio, para analizar la gestión comunitaria de los Comités de Agua Potable desde su organización y percepción de la sostenibilidad, se procedió a realizar la metodología del estudio a través de las siguientes fases: Fase I) organización y revisión de fuentes bibliográficas, así también la selección de las siguientes variables de estudio: organización comunitaria , marco legal de la organización, funcionamiento, logros , limitantes, toma de decisiones, gestión, aporte económico a la gestión, resultado de la gestión, percepción de la sostenibilidad, II) Diseño y validación del instrumento de campo, Fase III) Recolección de datos en campo, IV) Análisis y procesamiento de información V) Redacción y entrega del informe final, ,en los resultados de esta investigación se identificó que en la comunidad La Pitilla, la estructura organizativa de Comité de Agua Potable y Saneamiento se encuentra legalmente conformado, las organizaciones que más trabaja en la comunidad es el CAPS, las instituciones que más le dan seguimiento en las gestiones que realizan en las tres comunidades son la alcaldía y la Universidad Nacional Agraria, en el año 2016 el CAPS gestiono la perforación de un pozo con la alcaldía y con la ONG Wisconsin, esta gestión aún se encuentra en proceso, sin embargo la comunidad La Solera y Loma de Viento no existe una estructura de comité de agua potable, en la percepción de la sostenibilidad de la gestión en las tres comunidades no ha sido completamente satisfactoria en las gestiones realizadas por las organizaciones comunitarias esto se debe a la falta de compromiso y a la escasa participación en la toma de decisiones de los comunitarios en las gestiones.…”
