    “…El presente trabajo fue realizado en las instalaciones destinado para la crianza de cuyes en la localidad Puerto Tres de Octubre; Distrito de Tournavista; Provincia de Puerto Inca; Región Huánuco - Perú; durante el periodo comprendido de noviembre 2006 - setiembre 2007; los objetivos fueron: Determinar los índices productivos y reproductivos de cuyes (Cavia cobayo); determinar el costo de producción del gazapo nacido, el costo de venta de cuyes a diferentes edades y determinar el análisis económico obtenido a través de los índices económicos (análisis de costo y utilidad; análisis de rentabilidad y periodo de recuperación del capital); se empleó 48 cuyes criollos mejorados destetados (42 hembras y 6 machos), se utilizó 2 baterías de madera de 2 pisos con 6 jaulas cada una. …”
