Integration of physiological and remote sensing traits for improved genomic prediction of wheat yield
Publicado 2025“…In this study, genomic prediction models were developed by integrating phenological, physiological, and high-throughput phenotyping traits to predict grain yield in bread wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) under three environmental conditions: irrigation, drought stress, and terminal heat stress. Model performance was evaluated using both five-fold cross-validation and leave-one-environment-out (LOEO) schemes. …”

Lectin binding patterns and immunohistochemical antigen detection in placenta and lungs of Brucella abortus-bovine infected fetuses
Publicado 2018“…Lectin binding relies on the affinity of these substances for specific terminal sugars. The method facilitates the identification of complex structures to which the terminal sugar attaches and may reveal physiological or pathological changes in cells, intracellular interactions or extracellular transport pathways. …”

Profitability of alley farming with and without fallow in southwest Nigeria
Publicado 1994“…The results indicate that: continous alley cropping is more profitable than non-alley or alley cropping with fallow; short fallowing in alley cropping reduces the rate of mining soil fertility and thus helps preserve future productivity; alley farming with small ruminants enhances the profitability of alley systems and increases their advantage over the non-alley system; and alley systems remain profitable even when terminal clearing costs are internalized in the current project cycle.…”

Transcriptional signatures of wheat inforescence development
Publicado 2022“…This gene regulatory network highlighted interactions among a small number of regulatory hub genes active during terminal spikelet formation. Finally, the CLAVATA and WUSCHEL gene families were investigated, revealing potential roles for TtCLE13, TtWOX2, and TtWOX7 in wheat meristem development. …”

Development of a novel set of Gateway-compatible vectors for live imaging in insect cells
Publicado 2023“…The vector set was designed to express a protein of interest fused to any of four different fluorescent proteins [green fluorescent protein (GFP), cyan fluorescent protein (CFP), yellow fluorescent protein (YFP) and mCherry] by either the C-terminal or the N-terminal ends. Additionally, a collection of organelle-specific fluorescent markers was assembled for colocalization with fluorescent recombinant proteins of interest. …”

Three WHEAT/CIMMYT elite lines released by Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) as varieties for North West India's smallholder farmers in record time
Publicado 2020“…Phenotyping data for grain yield, heat tolerance, resistance to yellow rust and spot blotch, to support ICAR-IIWBR (Indian Council of Agricultural Research-Indian Institute of Wheat and Barley Research), the national partner, led to multi-trait improvements (pest and disease resistance, early and terminal heat) that ICAR-IWWBR could turn into varieties released and available to farmers in record time.…”

Trypanosoma congolense: Expression of a heat shock protein 70 and initial evaluation as a diagnostic antigen for bovine trypanosomosis
Publicado 2002“…Dot blotting of the truncated recombinant proteins confirmed that BiP antigenicity is mainly located in the C-terminal third of the molecule. A recombinant fragment corresponding to this region was used as an antigen in an indirect ELISA and an initial evaluation of its diagnostic potential for bovine trypanosomosis was performed. …”
