  1. Genotyping by sequencing provides new insights into the diversity of Napier grass (Cenchrus purpureus) and reveals variation in genome-wide LD patterns between collections por Muktar, Meki S., Teshome, A., Hanson, Jean, Negawo, Alemayehu T., Habte, Ermias, Domelevo Entfellner, Jean-Baka, Ki-Won Lee, Jones, Christopher S.

    Publicado 2019
“…One-hundred-five Napier grass accessions, encompassing two independent collections, were subjected to genotyping by sequencing which generated a set of high-density genome-wide markers together with short sequence reads. The reads, averaging 54 nucleotides, were mapped to the pearl millet genome and the closest genes and annotation information were used to select candidate genes linked to key forage traits. 980 highly polymorphic SNP markers, distributed across the genome, were used to assess population structure and diversity with seven-subgroups identified. …”

  4. Genome-wide comparison reveals large structural variants in cassava landraces por Landi, M., Carluccio, A.V., Shah, T., Niazi, A., Stavolone, L., Falquet, L., Gisel, A., Bongcam-Rudloff, E.

    Publicado 2025
“…Results We validated the presence of the 9.7 Mbp segment in the TMEB117 genome, distinguishing it from other published cassava genome assemblies. By mapping short-read sequencing data from 16 cassava landraces to TMEB117 chromosome 12, we observed variability in read mapping, suggesting that while all genotypes contain the insertion region, some exhibit missing segments or sequence differences. …”
