Geographic, taxonomic and metric gaps in biodiversity research limit evidence‐based conservation in agricultural landscapes: An umbrella review
Publicado 2025“…Evidence predominantly stems from averaged abundance data, revealing substantial gaps in studies on functional and phylogenetic diversity. Our findings highlight the need to analyse combinations of multiple practices to accurately reflect real‐world farming contexts, and covering a wider range of taxa, biodiversity metrics and spatial levels, to enable evidence‐based conservation strategies in agriculture. …”

Genetic phylogeography and maternal lineages of 18 Chinese black goat breeds
Publicado 2013“…The haplotype and nucleotide diversities ranged from 0.782 ± 0.079 to 1.000 ± 0.020 and from 0.009 ± 0.001 to 0.045 ± 0.006, respectively, indicating a relatively high genetic diversity in Chinese black goats. Phylogenetic analyses identified five haplogroups (A, B1, B2, C and D). …”

Morphological and molecular characterization of common bean landraces and cultivars from the Caribbean
Publicado 2005“…To test this hypothesis, we analyzed the morphological characteristics, phenological traits, phaseolin status, and random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) banding patterns of 54 red mottled or large-seeded bean landraces and cultivars from the Caribbean (16 from the Dominican Republic, 14 from Haiti, 1 from Jamaica and 23 from Puerto Rico) compared with 11 Andean bean lines from other regions. To estimate phylogenetic relationships among the lines, distances were calculated and dendrograms constructed for morphological and/or phenological and molecular characteristics by the complete clustering method. …”

Survey, molecular detection and characterization of geminiviruses associated with cassava mosaic disease in Zambia
Publicado 2016“…Single-virus infections were predominant, occurring in 62.8% (ACMV), 5.8% (EACMMV), and 2.2% (EACMV) of samples relative to mixed-virus infections, which occurred in 19.5% (ACMV + EACMMV), 0.4% (ACMV + EACMV), and 0.9% (ACMV + EACMV + EACMMV) of samples. Phylogenetic analysis revealed the segregation of virus isolates from Zambia into clades specific to ACMV, EACMV, and EACMMV, further confirming the presence of all three viruses in Zambia. …”

Risk factors for rotavirus infection in pigs in Busia and Teso subcounties, Western Kenya
Publicado 2017“…RV infection was confirmed by screening of fresh faecal samples by using reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR); selected positive samples were subsequently sequenced and used for phylogenetic analysis. In this analysis, RV infection status was used as outcome variable, while the metadata collected at the time of sampling were used as predictors. …”
