Two new ‘legumoviruses’ (genus Begomovirus) naturally infecting soybean in Nigeria
Published 2010“…A pairwise comparison with the corresponding nucleotide sequence of other begomoviruses in the databases indicated that SbCBV had a maximum of 74% identity with cowpea golden mosaic virus and SbMMV had a maximum of 65% identity with mungbean yellow mosaic India virus and kudzu mosaic virus. Phylogenetic analysis of the DNA A component of SbCBV and SbMMV together with those of other begomoviruses available in the databases showed clustering of the two viruses within the ‘legumovirus’ clade of the begomovirus phylogenetic tree. …”

Mitochondrial DNA variation of indigenous goat populations from Peste-des-petits-ruminants outbreak in South Kivu, Democratic Republic of the Congo
Published 2018“…The mean haplotype diversity and nucleotide diversity were 0.971±0.007 and 0.011±0.002, respectively with the overall number of nucleotide differences of 10.73. The phylogenetic analysis showed that all goat sequences were clustered into two haplogroups (A and B), of which haplogroup A was the commonest. …”

Comparative Values of SSRs, SNPs and InDels for Citrus Genetic Diversity Analysis
Published 2017“…In conclusion pluri-allelic SSRs are very useful for intraspecific structure analysis but have limitations for interspecific and phylogenetic studies. SNPs and InDels mined in large discovery panels appear to allow efficient selection of more specialized markers with high potential for phylogenetic diagnosis and to decipher the interspecific mosaic structure of secondary cultivated species or to analyze intraspecific diversity. …”
