  1. Low seed viability and germination in Polylepis flavipila hinder forest restoration: The role of seed mass and maternal effects por Huayta Hinojosa, L. David, Quispe Melgar, Harold Rusbelth, Lagones Poma, Katherine Lucero, Llacua Tineo, Yashira Stefani, Ames Martínez, Fressia Nathalie, Renison, Daniel

    Publicado 2025
“…The associations of seed viability with seed mass and maternal effects were evaluated in P. flavipila, a threatened tree species endemic to the Peruvian Andes. The characteristics and environments of 18 mother trees from two sites were measured, and seed quality was assessed in three tests. …”

    Publicado 2025
“…(P. citrinopileatus, P. djamor and P. ostreatus) and to evaluate the potential of the residual substrate as a biofertilizer, offering an ecological alternative to grassland burning in the Peruvian Andes. Samples of ichu from the district of Tomás (Lima, Peru) were used as culture substrate, analyzing productivity indicators such as crop cycle (CC), biological efficiency (EB) and production rate (PR), together with the nutritional profile of the fungi and the chemical properties of the residual substrate. …”

  4. Strategic supplementation of multinutritional blocks for goats (Capra hircus) under an intensive system on the central coast of Peru por Sessarego Dávila, Enmanuel Alexander, Castañeda, K.M., Canchino, J.R., Casanova, G.A., Ramírez Vergara, Raul Omar, Ríos, P.M.

    Publicado 2025
“…The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of supplementation of multi nutritional blocks (MNB) for growing goats on their productive and economic performance in an intensive system, on the central Peruvian coast. For this, 51 Saanen goats at two months of age and 9.7±1.4kg live weight on average were randomly distributed in three treatments: T0 = control; T1 = MNB supplementation with 24% crude protein (CP), and T2 = MNB supplementation with 29% CP, for a period of two months. …”

    Publicado 2025
“…This study evaluated the performance of geospatial regression and machine learning (ML) approaches for predicting SOCS in two Peruvian Andean basins: Torobamba and Coata. We compared Geographically Weighted Regression (GWR), GWR with collinearity analysis (GWRC), their kriging‐adjusted variants, and ML models (Random Forest, Gradient Boosting). …”
