“…The susceptibility of different Prunus rootstocks to PPV was evaluated in an established experimental plot next to a PPV-infected nectarine orchard. Aphid populations were monitored in 2011 and 2012 from the last week of April to the middle of June by the sticky-plant method in both the experimental plot (EP) and the surrounding infected nectarine orchard (SNO). …”

  5. Effect of shading in different periods from flowering to maturity on the fatty acid and phenolic composition of olive oil (cv. Arbequina) por Lemole, Georgina, Weibel, Antonio Marcelo, Trentacoste, Eduardo Rafael

    Publicado 2018
“…Radiation reduction immediately after pit hardening was critical on fruit maturity, and indirectly, on the fatty acid and polyphenol content profile. Orchard design and subsequent canopy management should focus on improving canopy illumination during S1 and S2 where shading reduced both fruit production and oil quality. …”

  7. Field performance of transgenic citrus trees: Assessment of the long-term expression of uidA and nptII transgenes and its impact on relevant agronomic and phenotypic characteristic... por Pons, Elsa, Peris, Josep E., Pena, Leandro

    Publicado 2017
“…In this study, we used eight transgenic lines of two different citrus types (sweet orange and citrange) transformed with the marker genes beta-glucuronidase (uidA) and neomycin phosphotransferase II (nptII) as model systems to study for the first time in citrus the long-term stability of transgene expression and whether transgene-derived pleiotropic effects occur with regard to the morphology, development and fruit quality of orchard-grown GM citrus trees. Results: The stability of the integration and expression of the transgenes was confirmed in 7-year-old, orchard-grown transgenic lines by Southern blot analysis and enzymatic assays (GUS and ELISA NPTII), respectively. …”
