The most important pests identified were the cacao thrips Selenothrips rubrocinctus Giard., the weevils Lordops sp., Lasiopus cilipes Sahlb., Naupactus sp., the Chrysomelidae Colaspis ornata Germ., Nodonota sp. and the moths Peosina mexicana Guen. and Sylepta prorogata Hmps. in their larval state. …”
