Defoliation Frequency Effects on Shoots and Roots of Poa ligularis in Arid Patagonia, Argentina
Publicado 2023“…Our findings suggest that (1) plant vigor on P. ligularis is most often favored by no more than two defoliations annually, immediately before internode elongation to 5 cm stubble height each, and (2) root field studies should be performed using short- rather than long-sampling increments into the soil profile because changes in root dynamics occurred at a scale of a few centimeters within it.…”

Is closing the agricultural yield gap a “risky” endeavor?
Publicado 2023“…SIGNIFICANCE: The risk-related yield gap is only expected to increase with weather extremes driven by climate change. Promoting “one-size-fits all” solutions to closing the yield gap could underestimate the effect of risk mitigation on agricultural production while increasing farmers.…”

Sorption, desorption and leaching potential of sulfonylurea herbicides in Argentinean soils
Publicado 2018“…According to the results, rimsulfuron and nicosulfuron herbicides would be classified as leachers, but factors such as landscape position, soil depth and the rate of decomposition in surface and subsurface soils could change the classification. In contrast, these factors do not affect classification of sulfometuron-methyl and metsulfuron-methyl; they would rank as leachers.…”
